Ronda-Ronda Penang

 I've stayed in Penang for 10 years but I've never explored the whole Penang island. The only place that I've never visited is Balik Pulau.
 We decided to have a family get-together before Ramadhan in Teluk Bahang. Our initial plan was Gunung Jerai. But since we decided to have a BBQ too, kena le cari tempat yang sesuai. Kat Gunung Jerai tu, area BBQ ada for a fee of RM100. Tapi semua peralatan kena bawak sendiri. Leceh le nak usung BBQ set naik gunung ni..:-( Lagipun, kat atas gunung tu macam tak byk aktiviti for the kids. Kalau kat beaches mmg the kids suka.

Depan chalet

 Lps berbincang adik-beradik, kitaorang pun decided ke Teluk Bahang. Tak pernah stay kat situ lagi. Kat Batu Feringgi tu dah biasa dah. So, lps tercari-cari chalet yang sesuai, we opted for Teluk Bahang Sportfishing Chalet. Chalet ni run by persatuan nelayan. Betul2 kat hujung Teluk Bahang nun. Dekat jetty tempat nelayan bawak naik ikan. Nak ke Taman Negara pun jalan kaki je..Bilik kitaorang betul2 mengadap laut. Depan bilik ada BBQ area with BBQ set. Senang nak lepak. The rate is cheap and suited everyone's budget. We booked 4 std rooms & 1 family room. The room is spacious & clean. For std room ada 1 double bed + 1 single bed. For family room for 6, ada 2 double bed + 2 single bed.Toilet pun ok. Cuma yang ada anak2 kecik macam kami ni kena bawak flask for hot water coz they don't provide electric kettle. Fridge pun tak de. Another thing , may be they need to improve on customer service. Bagi mesra pelanggan gitu..:-)

Menyusuri pantai

 That nite we had BBQ. Kak bwk marinated steak. Ila bwk sausages, burgers, coleslaw & maggi goreng. I made tuna pasta & brownies. Mak bawak fruits. Memula tu plan nak beli ikan boleh bakar ikan sama, tp masa tu bot nelayan tak naik lg. Masa tgh BBQ tu, TV3 tgh buat shooting kat jetty tu utk slot samarinda kut. We were asked to keep quiet for at least 10min. Yelah dah ramai2 mmg riuh rendah esp the kids. The scene to be shot was for a 4am scene. Mmg kene sunyi sepi le. So, ada le Rushdi Ramli. Eja was supposed to star too.Tp dah gelap gelita tu tak nampak le pulak ada ke tak...

BBQ

 The next day, after the kids puas main pasir & mandi-manda, we went to Taman Rimba. Dekat situ gak. Lepak kat situ until after Jumaat. Tp tak berani mandi kat situ coz skrg ni byk kes kematian kat waterfall due to bacterial infections. Lepas lunch kat Tmn Rimba tu ( picnic style ), kitaorang ke Balik Pulau konon2nya nak makan durian. Tp since now ni dah end of the season, tak byk dah durian. Tak jadi le mkn durian. Lagipun sume tgh kekenyangan with heavy lunch.

Taman Rimba

 Ila suggested we went to Akuarium Jabatan Perikanan. Mmg sesuai le bwk the kids ke situ. Konon2 nak tgk ' turtle sebesar kak' as she put it, tp diorang tgh renovate. So, no turtle. Lps dah puas tgk ikan, we had dinner kat Seri Pantai @ Gold Coast. Plan nak ke Juru Auto City lepas tu tak jadi coz sume keletihan after a long day..

What was supposed to be a nice day was spoilt by adik. Dia melalak from the middle of the bridge until sampai rumah! mmg bingit le telinga I. All becoz she wanted Papa to fasten her seatbelt. Memula tu pakai elok je seatbelt. Tgh2 bridge tu dia bukak seatbelt lepas tu nak suruh papa gak yg pakaikan. Alysa nak tlg pakaikan dia tak nak. Grr..tension betul I. Nak stop , jln tgh jam. Sampai rumah, Hubby pakaikan dia seatbelt & pusing 1 taman baru stop melalak..hehe..
