Training Her to Fast

 Dah seminggu kita berpuasa. Tapi sehari pun Alysa belum puasa penuh. The 1st day masa kat kg, dia tak bangun sahur, so mmg le tak puasa. Then the following days, dia bangun sahur tapi minum susu sebotol je. She managed to fast until 2.30 - 3pm.Balik je kindy, terus cari air. Habis 2-3 jenis air dia tibai. Makan started after asar normally. Dia makan senang je.Toasts with cheese slices. Boleh habis 4 keping roti!
 Last thursday ( Day 4 fasting ), balik je kindy terus nak makan. Cik Jun cuba pujuk. Terus dia melalak macam orang kebuluran. Bergema 1 rumah..:D. I kat dalam bilik dah tergelak2. Adik yang jadi reporter pun takut nak p dekat dia. At last, bagi je dia bukak puasa. Not that I paksa2 dia. I just bagi dia puasa sampai dia larat. Kecik lagi. I dulu pun started puasa penuh when I was in std 2.
 Cubaan puasa for Alysa was during weekends. Yesterday dia melalak kelaparan as early as 12.30pm. I wasn't home. So, Cik Jun bg dia berbuka eventhough I instructed Alysa to fast until 2.30pm if possible. Mana taknya, nampak Adik & Baby asyik mengunyah tuna pasta i made earlier ( her fav ). Bila dia berbuka je terus dia pulun 4 bowls of the pasta sampai nak termuntah..:D
 Today, every 15 min dia asyik tanya pukul berapa coz i told her she can break fast at 2.30pm...

 Kek Durian ni , I made untuk bawak balik kg nak sambut Ramadhan. Nice & moist. Bau durian pun tak overwhelming. Resepi tu ubah sikit je dari kek chempedak.
Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan 1432. Semoga kita beroleh keberkatanNya.

Kek Durian


Ingredients

250 grams of butter
200 grams of sugar ( I used 180gm )
250 grams of self raising flour
4 eggs
3 tbs milk powder
200 grams of durian flesh, deseeded

Method

1. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy
2. Add eggs and flour alternately followed by the milk powder.
3. Mix in the flesh gently.
4. Pour the batter into greased pan.
5. Bake at 180C for 45 minutes.
