Sunday Outing

Our Sundays were normally spent doing grocery shopping. But, since the H1N1 cases are rampant now, we don't want to expose the princesses to many people at public places. So, we went grocery shopping on Friday without them. We also went to buy baju raya on Thursday also without them...Nak terperap kat rumah pun tak syok gak coz we always go out with them on Sundays. Kalau terperap kat rumah, I'm sure bingit telinga I dengar Alysa & Adik whining jom g shopping... There was a time when we did grocery shopping at Sunway Carnival, tengok2 a ada le parents bawak anak dia yang ada chicken pox kat situ. I tak perasan mula2 tu,( I ni jenis yang tak observant, unlike Hubby..) but I noticed the kid was crying & surrounded by family members. Tetiba2 Hubby yang kat belakang suruh I cepat2 jalan & informed that the kid had chicken pox!! Ntah apa2 le parents budak tu. Kalau anak tak sihat duduk jelah kat rumah! Dah la expose other people to infection, lagi satu kesian kat budak tu..

Yesterday, nak g beach, weather pun macam not that nice. Nak hujan lak. So, in the end we decided to go to furniture showroom ( Of all places!!!) Saje je nak tengok2 furniture for the princesses' room. They love the love-shaped sofa bed. Sampai torgolek2 atas tu 2-2 orang. And it's red in colour. Lagi le diorang suka..Lupa lak nak amik photos of the sofabed. Hubby lak berkenan yang beige colour with wheel. Tak sesuai langsung! Actually nak cari wardrobe. Tapi biasak le cuci mata tengok benda lain. Tapi knowing Hubby, silap2 nak beli benda lain nanti terbeli barang lain. Impulsive shopper la katakan..hehehe..

The past few days tekak the princesse ni nak fast food lak. So, once in a while we indulged them. Tak boleh selalu sangat coz Alysa kalau makan kat KFC mesti makan chicken skin. Habis semua chicken pieces ditogelkan. Nasib le Adik tak makan skin. Ha yang ni jaga body awal2. Tu yang sekeping je..Alysa lak lagi bulat le.. So, yesterday jamu diorang KFC. Nak tolak tak leh coz diorang dah nampak KFC masa ke furniture showroom tu.. Malam be4 tu dah ke McD. The previous day dah makan KFC. Eh dah overdose lak bebudak ni on fast food wakaka..

Tengah pulun KFC..Baby pun beriya je makan burger, tapi bits & pieces je..Cian Baby..

Hari tu lepas jemu makan pasta, I made Nasi Carrot. Alysa memula2 tu tak nak. Tapi lepas rasa, terus makan bertambah. Masa I balik kerja siap bagitau " kakak makan nasi carrot, sedappp". Kira passed the test of the picky eater.. Ni cedok resepi dari Myresepi. Memang sedap but I alter le sikit2 to suit the princesses' taste.

Nasi Carrot

Bahan:

Bahan A; kisar

10 biji cili hijau ( I used 1/2 capsicum + 1 cili merah )

1 tbs lada putih ( I used 1/2 tsp ..takut pedas)

1 tbs jintan manis

5 ulas bawang putih

Bahan tumis

Buah pelaga, bunga lawang, bunga cengkih, kulit kayu manis

4 cwn beras

600gm carrot; parut

1/2 ekor ayam; potong kecil

300gm tomato; potong dadu + gula batu

3 biji bawang besar ; hiris ( I blend sekali bahan kisar )

4 tbs minyak sapi

1 cwn santan ( I used susu )

garam

daun pandan

Cara

1. Gaul carrot bersama beras yang sudah dicuci.

2. Panas minyak sapi. Tumis bahan penumis, bahan A, garam sehingga naik bau.

3. Masuk air, susu, tomato, beras + carrot, ayam, chicken stock. Kacau sebentar.

4. Masak dalam rice cooker.

( Ni method yang I guna coz I used rice cooker & I simplify the method )
