Sehari di KL

Last week mmg sibuk betul. Tak plan pun ke KL. Tetiba Hubby ajak temankan dia ke KL utk selesaikan kerja dia. Kalau I tak ikut dia, dia nak wat day trip je. Kesian lak & risau gak dia drive sorang2. So, we headed to KL on thursday morning at around 8am. Reached KL around 11.30am. Terus ke Dayabumi Complex. After pusing cari parking 3-4 kali, managed to get to the office before 12pm. Alhamdulillah kerja selesai before lunchtime. Cepat betul!
Since it was still early, we decided to play tourists. We went to Masjid Negara ( yang dah berkurun I tak pegi..rasanya the last time I went there was when I was in primary school..) for zohor prayer. Cramped kaki panjat tangga masjid. Nampak sangat tak fit or may be I need more calcium supplements. Tapi this time nasib my feet tak bengkak due to the long distance travelling.
Lepas zohor, we went to Central Market.( the last time I went there when I was in AUSMAT ). Nothing much changed. Kedai buku yang boleh trade-in tu is still there..Lama betul bisnes pak cik tu..Kitaorang siap beli barang lagi kat situ..& had tea there. Lepas habis ronda CM, it was still early, so, we decided to drop by at Midvalley. Tempat yang sepatutnya dekat je dah jadi jauh coz Hubby asyik termiss jalan masuk ke situ. Tapi sampai gak hajat nak ke situ ( eventhough Hubby dah nak give up dah masa tu ).
By the time we finished shopping, it was a good time to head to my nephew's place. Tapi singgah jap rumah my cousin in Sri Petaling for dinner. Dia jemput..Sampai rumah Ismadi ( my nephew), Wahyu dah siapkan dinner gak. So, 2 x dinner.
I made some muffins ( again..) for the princesses & bawak buah tangan ke Putrajaya. Resepi dari dapur K.Ummi.

Muffins

The past few days I buat projek menghabiskan stok. Nak habiskan stok blueberry filling & banana yang dah masak ranum. So, muffins were the easiest solution. The princesses pun excited nak menolong. Tolong susun muffin cups & kacau apa2 yang patut. Besides that, tolong tengok & makan je la..:-) Otherwise, rosak resepi nanti.

Peachy Moist Muffins

After bertangguh for quite some time, semalam berjaya jugak menghabiskan stok peaches. Yelah dah nak pegi berjalan2 jauh for a few days, kalau tak dihabiskan, mmg rosak le peaches tu. Actually pernah buat peach muffins resepi Yani @ myResipi, this time saje nak cuba resepi lain. Simple but nice. It's denser than Yani's. Kena makan panas2 lagi sedap.

Ni pulak our lunch hari tu. Lama pulak tak buat lasagna coz tekak ni rasa tak boleh terima je red sauce. Hubby makan beriya je. Tekak I pun boleh le pulak terima..:-). Resepi mesti sume orang biasa buat lasagna..

Beef Lasagna

This coming weekend, Hubby ada course kat KL. So, kitaorang pun mengekor le sekali. Will stay in KL for 2 days. Then ke Melaka, then balik Johor. Tu pun dia ajak melencong ke Cameron Highlands. Takut tak terlarat le pulak. So, after ke Johor rasanya terus balik Penang kut. So, won't be blogging for a while. Kecuali kalau terajin le pulak..:-)

K = C @ F

Adik has a problem in pronouncing several letters. One of the most noticeable ones is K. She'd say 'cacak' instead of 'kakak'. This always make Alysa rolls her eyes while trying to correct Adik. Adik on the other hand would say ' No... it's cacak!' Then the argument started..

If the K is in the middle of the word, she'd substitute the K with an F. For example she'd say 'cofelat' for chocholate( cokelat), 'feyiau' for keriau ( loghat kedah for crying ). Of course we could not correct her pronounciation coz as usual she's always right..sigh...Nasib le she can pronounce K at the end of the word eg Adik. Kalau tak, mesti jadi Adic or Adif..hehe...

Semenjak 2 menjak ni..tak tau le apasal I suka wat muffins. May be it's easier to bake than cakes. It took half the time to bake muffins compared to cakes. Adik pulak kalau I buat cakes, confirm dia tak makan..tapi kalau buat muffin makan pulak. Pelik betul! Padahal sama je taste dia tapi rupa lain le... Muffin comel..Easier for kids to eat. Yesterday since stock durian banyak kat rumah, & bau dia harum 1 rumah, I pun wat le Durian Muffin. Malam tu dah buat Bubur Jagung Durian jamu Bang Cik & family. Still, banyak lagi durian.. The Durian Muffin tu resepi CMG. Thanks Cik Mat. Memang nice & wangi. Sesuai sangat untuk habiskan stok durian..:-)

Songstress Wannabe

Both Alysa & Adik love to sing. Any catchy song..Currently, Adik is in the process of learning the whole book of nursery rhymes. Her favourites are of course 'Lompat Sikatak Lompat' & 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. She always sing the lyrics jumble up in ' Burung Kakak Tua'. At one time she went by ' Burung Kakak Tua, Giginya tinggal dua..'. Now she goes ' ..Nenek sudah tua, hinggap di jendela..' She doesn't care about the lyrics. As long as she can sing, that's ok..:-). She is also trying very hard to memorise 'Kereta kecilku'. Of course mama jadi demo tape la..huhu..I pun dah naik jemu nyanyi lagu tu..sigh..
Alysa dah pro bab nursery rhymes. Dia pun dak muak jadi demo tape untuk Adik. Whoever is available, kena le jadi demo tape untuk Adik. Alysa has moved to popular songs. Any hit songs she heard on TV or radio, we will hear her sing later. Sometimes in her own lyrics! But she got the melody right, so we can guess the song. Sometimes, I pun tak pernah dengar lagu tu. Yelah jarang dengar radio. Dengar radio pun on d way pegi kerja which is 3- 5 minutes drive. Camna nak tau lagu2 baru hikhik..
Last nite I made Peach Muffin. Very yummy. Alysa tak mau tukar her pyjamas. Nak makan dulu. She finished off 2. Adik yang dah gosok gigi pun nak jugak. Normally bukan main susah nak pujuk dia makan. Ni boleh lak habis sebiji. I bagi je dia makan eventhough dah gosok gigi.. yelah mana tahan tengok Alysa melantak sakan...hehe..

Mirror, mirror on the wall

...who's the tallest of them all?'

Yesterday, we got a height measuring chart from Schering-Plough. So, Hubby decided to put it in the princesses' room. Alysa memang excited la with the new addition. Terus cuba...Then, we measured their heights. Alysa, 108cm. Adik, 87cm. Baby, 70cm. Baby grow up so fast. I think last week she was at Adik's chest. This week dah kat bahu Adik. A few people predicted she'd be the tallest among the 3 of them ( & the fairest too...) in the future.

Ni time baik & lovey dovey. Kalau tak... nak pecah anak telinga dengar diorang gaduh ( well, yang 2 orang tu le!). I lak nak tercabut anak tekak jerit..:-)

Petang tadi rajin le pulak buat muffin for tea. Two reasons actually. 1) nak habiskan stok pisang yang ranum. 2) Tension coz last nite's Oat bran muffin turned up not good. Terpahit la pulak. Terlebih baking soda..Ni kiranya nak menebus last nite's failure hehe..( actually rupa ok, cuma rasa ada kureng sikit..)

This time memang worth the try. Very2 yummy...Gebu inside & crunchy on top. Hubby sanggup balik for tea, then pegi office lak hehe...tak tahan godaan.
