PBA - Bad customer service

Pepagi tadi staff bagitau air tak de. Heran gak bila office atas ada pulak ( Air kat tank diorang banyak kut ). Check meter tengok2 kena clamped. Yang pelik tu bil dah bayar since last week. Since kitaorang share meter dgn office atas, diorang offered nak ke PBA to settle the problem
 In the meantime, I called PBA call centre. Baru je terang our situation & that we never received the bills since last year..selalunya dapat notis akhir je. Terus dia membebel, tu bukan salah diorang. Customers yang dah pandai guna air, pandai le cari bil kalau tak terima. Duhh! I pun panas le. Ingat kita ada 1 bil je ke nak bayar tiap2 bulan. Nak kena terhegeh2 request kat diorang bil. Dah le bil diorang 2 bulan sekali. Mana nak ingat when we were supposed to get the bill. TM & TNB reti pulak hantar bil, why PBA tak boleh buat benda sama? Dia terus marah jangan nak samakan PBA dgn TM & TNB! Ntah apa2 le si mangkuk ni. Dah kita compare service diorang yang teruk tu bukan tau nak accept teguran.
 Another of her rationale bila I tanya why bekalan air kena potong baru this week eventhough dia pun mengaku dah terima payment last week ( after checking in their system ), dia boleh kata dah tarikh akhir suruh bayar end of June & I bayar early of July so mmg le kena potong. Apa la punya alasan. Selalunya orang potong bekalan air ,elektrik & phone sbb nak suruh pengguna bayar. Ni dah bayar kena potong jugak mmg otak kat lutut le tu kut! Mmg geram betul cakap dengan orang yang tak sekolah, at last I gave up. Terus hang up. Apasal le orang2 macam ni boleh diletak kat customer service. Kalau macam ni gaya, baik tak yah ada customer service.
 Wouldn't it be much nicer if she said " I'm sorry. It's our mistake since you did make a payment before we cut your water supply. We'll make arrangements to unclamp your meter. Thank you for calling and have a nice day." Then, I'd definitely have a nice day..

 Lepas hang up tu mmg berasap & mendidih je darah. Daripada buat kerja bila tengah marah, baik bergayut dgn kawan2. Bergayut dgn Zuraida punya le lama nearly 1 hour. Banyak cerita since lama tak borak. Padahal duduk dekat je, tapi malas nak kacau dia. yelah orang ada 9 businesses to handle. Mmg le sibuk mak cik tu! :-)
 Petang tadi tanya hubby dia nak makan cucur jagung or bubur jagung, he requested cucur jagung. So, we had cucur jagung for tea. Cucur jagung ni my adik beradik punya favourite. Tapi ada gak orang yang tak pernah makan. I remember when I made cucur jagung masa kat Perth dulu, my next door neighbour, Nadja from KL siap mintak resepi coz dia tak pernah makan before.

Another trip to KL again..

 Last friday, we had to go to KL again coz ada meeting kat IMR. This time tak bawak the princesses. Kena tinggal dengan Cik Jun. Since a drive from Penang to KL normally took us around 3-4 hours, we decided to go that morning. Sampai KL awal lagi, around 1 pm ( appointment at 3pm ) tapi nak terus le hotel takut lak tersesat nak ke IMR pulak eventhough it's only 3-4km from IMR to our hotel. Tapi tak pe lah, better be early for the meeting. So, lunch dekat2 situ je.
 Lepas meeting, terus ke hotel. Lepas solat konon2nya nak shopping. Pegi le KLCC..tapi ronda2 kat situ I macam tak de mood lak nak shopping. Tak berkenan dihati. I think for the past few weeks dah asyik ke shopping complexes in Penang, KL & Batu Pahat, so dah beli dah benda yang berkenan dihati, so tu yang macam tak de perasaan nak shopping this time.
After a light dinner kat KLCC we headed to my cousin, Abang Ari's house kat Sri Petaling. On the way there nearly tersesat gak eventhough guna GPS & dah a few times ke rumah dia.. Tgk2 petrol dah nak habis. Gelabah la gak coz tak jumpa 1 pun petrol station. Biasak le, benda kalau kita cari mmg le tak jumpa. Battery hp pn nak kong. Tapi at last jumpa gak. Phew..Terus penuhkan petrol tank before ke rumah Abang Ari. We were served Laksa Johor yang telah difusionkan dengan laksa Kedah..:-) Cair but sedap. K.Hanim mmg pandai buat laksa johor. Then K.Cik bawak balik Big apple's doughnuts. Mmg sedap.
 Balik dr Sri Petaling dah 10.30pm. Ronda2 kat area dekat hotel we all. Yang kelakarnya we all ronda kat this street & at last masa nak dekat balik baru realised it was Petaling St. Punya la..Dulu2 masa student mmg akan singgah kat petaling st kalau nak ke Puduraya on d way balik Kedah. Ni dah jalan kat situ pun tak perasan tu le Petaling St! hehe..Padahal kat entrance tu dah terbentang tulis China Town. Memula tu cuak gak masa nak masuk street tu coz nampak chinese stalls je with mat & minah saleh lepak minum2. ( Yelah of course lakan since China Town..). Dah masuk tu macam pasar malam je.
 Esok tu be4 balik Penang sempat singgah kat Jln Masjid India & Jalan TAR. Konon2 nak beli kain untuk baju raya. Rambang mata. Tapi tak beli untuk sendiri pun tapi belikan untuk orang lain je. Untuk pakai sendiri macam tak de yang berkenan dihati...

Pizza & the Slow Website

 I woke up early today which was quite rare considering I'm not a morning person. Selalunya lepas subuh, zzz..balik. But, I have a mission today. Well, last nite masuk this gov website, but could't get the job done. So, I thought kena buat during office hours kut. So, after subuh tak sambung tido.
 Since masa ada lagi before the office opened at 8am, I decided to make a pizza dough. Lama tak buat pizza ni coz sorang dalam rumah ni mmg tak makan anything to do with roti. ( Adik le tu..). So, kalau masak benda yang dia tak makan, mmg nak kena buat something for her. Dah le kurus kering, makan pun memilih. Kejap je pizza dough  & topping dah siap. Dapat le 2 large pizzas. Resepi I combine 2 resepi.
 Back to the govt website, rupa-rupanya diaorang dah tukar new system since 1st July. Baru je lagi. Tu yang tak perasan tu. So, kena call office diorang tu get the new password for the new system. MasyaAllah, punya le lembab macam siput website tu. Everytime u want to go to a new page, it prompted to key in the identification ID which u have to key in about 5X! Lepas tu nak upload document yg around 30kb pun tak leh. After calling & emailing them, at last we resolved the problem dah petang. Rupa2nya file name tak leh ada any characters. Grr.. Apasal le tak mention awal2 kat instruction tu upload tu! So, finally got the job done around 4pm with the help of Hubby.

Ingredients

1 package active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup fresh milk
 2 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 200C. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes. Add fresh milk.
2.Stir in flour, salt and oil. Beat until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
3.Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round. Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan . Spread with desired toppings and bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

What Song?

After AF ( Akedemi Fantasia ) habis hari tu, Alysa & Adik have their favourite finalists & songs. Alysa loves Adira while Adik suka Syahir. So, hari2 melalak lagu baru Syahir & Adira. Yang pelik tu, they only heard the songs in passing coz Mama & Papa bukannya peminat AF ni ( except that mama diaorang tak pernah miss every concert masa AF1-AF3, but now dah tak minat dah..:-) ). Hubby lagi le blur, coz dia dari dulu mmg tak minat AF ni. It's typical of guys that he'd watch sports channel je when he had time to watch TV.
 Tapi bebudak mmg camni kut. Dengar je lagu yang diorang suka sekali dua terus boleh nyanyi. Kalau study cam ni mmg lah baguskan..But, I noticed that the princesses ni kalau tengok TV programmes yang diorang suka, punya la kusyuk sampai panggil pun tak dengar, sebijik macam Papa. Expression muka pun sama..:-)
 Last nite, bila telinga I dah sakit dengar Adik melalak lagu Syahir, I decided to record it. Punya le kuat melalak sampai nak pecah speaker. Tapi I record pakai phone je..Bila Hubby tengok recording tu, he asked " What song?". I pun tak ingat title lagu Syahir ni..:D. Yelah considering mmg jarang dengar radio. The most I'd listen to the radio is around 2 mins while driving to work..hehe.. Rumah dekat je dgn tempat kerja..hehe..

At last, I'm back home. We arrived last nite. We left MIL's house at 10am coz she had to attend a funeral. Singgah Batu Pahat. Actually dah ronda2 the day before..& dah pekena the famous Beriyani Gam. ( Hmm..sedapnya dia punya mutton..) Tapi ada 1 shopping mall tak singgah. So, ended up kat situ until 12.30pm.

 Actually nak cerita pasal this story masa on the way from KL to BP. Hubby decided to stop in Melaka to meet up his buddy when he was in Adelaide. The last time they met was in 1994. Punya la lama. So, after berFB I think, we decided to stop by at his place. Dia ambik cuti nak sambut tetamu dari jauh..:-) Masa sampai tu dah 3 pm. Lepas borak2, he said he has 2 practices. 1 was handled by his wife. I pun pelik gak la masa tu coz dlm kereta tadi Hubby cakap wife dia cikgu. So, I tanya le wife dia cuti hari apa? Dia cakap dah cikgu, cuti ikut sekolah le..So, blur le kejap I. Lepas tu wife dia dok mention pasal kembar anak bongsu dia & cerita pasal maid. Lepas tu baru clear bila dia cerita yang pasal maid wife no 2. They were waiting for wife no 2 to arrive with a dish for the afternoon. About 1/2 hour later, wife no 2 arrived with a baby. Rupanya yang di sebut kembar tu, anak bongsu wife no1 & anak sulung wife no 2 who were born 3 days apart. They are about Adalia's age.

 Kalau tengok tu memang mesra le the 2 families. Yang I musykil tu..why men take more than 1 wife. In this case, kalau tengok 1st wife tu tak de kurang pun..sweet, lembut, well-educated, has 4 kids ( 3 girls & 1boy ), still slim. ( 1st wife tu my senior in Sec 2, tapi I tak ingat pun muka dia..hehe..). The 2nd wife pulak, tak de le cantik jelita pun..1 year older than him, & well-educated too. Induksi sekali dengan Hubby but he couldn't remember her eventhough they were in the same group. Tapi masa ni dia tak kawin lagi dgn Hubby's friend.

 Another interesting thing, the 2 families are moving to a new bungalow soon. Now, I'm impressed! Selalunya, walau sesabar mana pun pompuan, eventhough dia dah bagi husband dia nikah sorang lagi, susah la nak duduk serumah dgn madu dia. Tapi I really salute the first wife . Not that I want to emulate her..:D. They said they allocated 1 day a week for the 2 families to get together. Lepas ni hari2 boleh jumpa..

 Lepas jumpa family ni, awal2 Hubby dah kena warning jangan cuba2 nak tiru kawan dia..haha..I definitely won't tolerate this coz I'm not that patient or baikhati..:-)

 To friends yang I tak sempat nak jumpa the other day, sorry ye. May be next time. Yesterday, on the way back sempat jumpa sorang kat Shah Alam. Masa we all in KL, he was in Shanghai. So, nak balik ke Penang yesterday sempat le jumpa dia dekat2 office dia.
